Placeholders To Personalize Docs, Posts, Courses, Events, Etc. (merge tags)

I think they are called "Placeholders" - but they are the little codes that are used in email campaigns that personalize messages.

For example, in email newsletters, you can write Hello [name] or {name} -- and then the name of the person that you are sending the email to goes into the place of that "placeholder"

I think that this would be great option if we had this in heartbeat, to make notifications more personal, but especially for the messages that a person sees during the on-boarding process and also for courses.

Insert user info variables in Posts and Course Lessons

Allow community admins to personalize Posts and Course Lessons by inserting the user's info (e.g., First Name, Email, ID, etc.), the same way personalization works in emails.

    Example Post:

Welcome {{user.first_name}} to Highvantage Circle! Click here to access your bonuses: https://domain.ai/access?email={{user.email}}.

User John Smith (j.s@gmail.com) would see this: Welcome John to Highvantage Circle! Click here to access your bonuses: https://domain.ai/access?email=j.s@gmail.com.

User Manoj Sharma (manoj.sharma@gmail.com) would see this: Welcome Manoj to Highvantage Circle! Click here to access your bonuses: https://domain.ai/access?email=manoj.sharma@gmail.com.

Yes, in a classroom you can call someone by their name to get their attention. Not so on Heartbeat. Platforms like Gnowbe have integrated this throughout and their engagement statistics show that this personalisation works wonders. I would like to see them available in Threads also.
