Mobile App Feature Request — Community & Channel Banners

Hi Heartbeat Team, I wanted to share some feedback from my experience building my community on the platform. I love what you've created, and I want to see it shine even more on mobile! Currently, when members open the Heartbeat mobile app, the community banner and channel banners are not visible. On desktop, these visuals are a significant part of the member experience — they set the tone, communicate the brand atmosphere, and give members an immediate sense of where they are. For community builders like me who have invested heavily in creating a warm, visually intentional experience, this means half the atmosphere is invisible to mobile users — and the majority of members today are accessing communities primarily from their phones. My specific requests are: Display the community banner on the mobile app home/feed view Display channel banners within individual channels on mobile If full banners aren't feasible, even a condensed or thumbnail version would make a meaningful difference Thank you for the incredible work you do. This platform has given my community a true home, and I'm grateful for the thoughtfulness behind every feature. I just want our mobile sisters to get the full garden experience too! 🌸 Warmly, Robyn Starr

Add a note to members profile (CRM feature)

I’d like to be able to add informations on my customers profile. A simple long text field would be great, a timestamped timeline for notes would be wonderful. That would allow me, for instance, to keep track of a coaching or a conversation, to add some infos about paiement problems or customers inputs…

Find your own posts and comments

There's currently no quick way to find your own posts and comments. You have to remember where you posted. This compounds in communities with course-sized channels carrying 40+ threads, where members lose track of their own contributions and stop exploring as a result.

Please hide the cloaked Zoom link until 30 minutes before each event?

I love that Heartbeat cloaks our Zoom links! But (at least in the browser version) if a member is savvy enough to click each zoom link in advance, let it redirect, and then copy the URL that it redirects to, then they’ve got the actual link. Most people won’t think to do this, but if I schedule my events far in advance, then people could join my membership, click to resolve and save all of the Zoom links in advance, cancel their membership (or I remove them from the membership if they’re problematic), and they’ll still have all of my Zoom links. I haven’t been able to find a workaround yet. I tested this yesterday. I created an event, and it showed this cloaked zoom link: https://community.thiswayoutcoaching.com/eventRedirect/21225e6b-3e06-4f16-8a3d-e9e304282d33?uid=MzNkYWU0MmYtYjU1ZC00YjM1LWJmZjYtNDIzN2I0YTk0NDM4 I logged into a test member account that I’ve been using, clicked the cloaked link, and it redirected to the real Zoom link: https://us02web.zoom.us/s/84066930479?pwd=prxkixWj7c6CZhJiarNEOFQfVtEmXm.1#success I copied and saved the redirected link, and then removed that test member from my community. Naturally, the cloaked link stopped redirecting to the real Zoom link, which is great, but the redirected link (which I had saved in advance) still worked perfectly. I also had the idea to change the password on the Zoom event from within my Zoom account, but since I can’t update the Zoom link in Heartbeat, this will cause it to ask EVERYONE for the password. If Heartbeat simply didn’t show a URL at all until 30 minutes before each event, then members couldn’t click, resolve, and save the real URLs very far in advance, which I think would solve this well enough. If I need to remove a member less than 30 minutes before an event (unlikely), then I’ve got big enough problems that the URL is not a huge deal. Alternately, if there was a way for me to update the URL that Heartbeat redirects to, then I could change the password in Zoom, and then update Heartbeat to use the new URL instead. I tested it in my browser on my Windows 11 laptop and also on my iPhone. Thanks everyone!

MCP Connector 🤖

This will allow Claude or Codex to update our community spaces, easily create content, and understand community trends. I think it's worth fast tracking as it will benefit all the communities in Heartbeat. Please, please….and Mucho Thanks 🙏

Voice to text in pulse

Would it be possible to have the little ‘voice to text’ converter in the pulse control chats, please? I find it quite frustrating to have to type all the commands that are needed to be able to style a page the way I would like. I am currently using Gemini to dictate the instruction and then copying and pasting into pulse. Being able to tweak the text before submitting it is a good thing so ‘just’ getting it to turn voice to text in that field would be so helpful. Alternatively being able to manually adjust, edit and style a page would also help. Thank you.

Restricted API keys and granular permissions for chatbots

Restricted API keys and more granular administrator permissions, specifically for AI chatbots that only need access to direct messages is a key feature for both automation and data privacy. I believe this would be a valuable feature for other community owners who want to integrate AI while keeping their members' data secure, given the existing API constraints.

"Every 3 Months" vs. "Quarterly"

This is a small request, but the language around quarterly would be clearer if you changed it. Right now, it reads “$X/ quarter,” but quarters are business terms, so that is a bit confusing. It would be clearer to say “every 3 months,” “per 90 days,” or something similar that denotes a time period starting with the first payment rather than the next quarter of the year.

Name your price should accept $0

Currently, if I set up $0 as my baseline price for “Name Your Price”, it’s not possible for members to complete checkout. On my other communities, I use a Woocommerce plugin called Name Your Price, which operates through Stripe and has a no-friction way to input any price including zero, in which case the person is able to bypass inputting payment information.

No New Content Indicator in Sidebar

Hello, I have uncovered something extremely important and can not believe that HB does not have it....When a new post is made in a thread channel, there's no visual indicator on the channel name in the sidebar to let members know new content is there — no dot, badge, or unread count. Members only find out via email or push notification, which means anyone who's already in the app has no way to know activity happened without manually checking each channel. This makes it hard to drive engagement inside the platform. A simple unread indicator per channel (similar to what most messaging and community tools have) would make a meaningful difference. Would love to see this prioritized.

Option to hide the "Join community" bar on individual Resources

Public and email-gated Resources show a "Join community" bar at the bottom of the reader, linking to the community's Default homepage. Today the only way to remove it is to clear the Default homepage, which hides it on every Resource and changes what logged-out visitors see on your custom domain. Request: a per-Resource setting to hide the bar, so admins can use a Resource as a deliberate, non-sales entry point (for example an orientation read that leads to a separate email-gated or paid Resource) and decide themselves where and when to prompt visitors to join.

Czech language support for Heartbeat

Hi Heartbeat team, I’d love to suggest adding Czech as a supported language in Heartbeat. I’m currently building a paid Czech-speaking community on your platform, and the lack of Czech localization is honestly one of the biggest limitations for me. For many of my members, especially people who are not comfortable with English, having parts of the interface, automated messages, buttons, notifications, or system emails in English creates unnecessary friction. For some potential customers, it can even be a reason not to join. I also think Heartbeat may be leaving money on the table by not supporting more languages. There are thousands of creators across smaller European markets who need community platforms in their native language, and localization is becoming significantly easier and cheaper with today’s AI translation tools. Even if full localization isn’t possible immediately, it would be amazing to have an option for community owners to manually translate or customize all member-facing system text. I genuinely enjoy Heartbeat and would love to keep growing my Czech community here, so Czech localization would make a huge difference. Is Czech — or broader multilingual support — something that is currently on your roadmap? Thank you! Kristýna Smrček

Make names of members who saw a post visible

Currently I can see how many members have seen my post, but not who. Not seeing who has not seen it keeps me from targeted follow-up.

Feature Request: Pulse Chat Organization

As a power user of Pulse, my chat history grows significantly over time and becomes difficult to navigate. I'd love one or both of the following: Folders/subfolders — the ability to organize chats into named categories (e.g., Branding, Launch, Courses) for easier retrieval. Search — the ability to search past chats by keyword or date so I can quickly locate a specific conversation without scrolling through a long list.

Feature Request: Tier-Level Launch Dates for Offers

I'd love the ability to set a specific open date per pricing tier within an offer. For example, Tier 1 opens October 1, 2026, and Tiers 2 & 3 open January 1, 2027 — all within the same offer. Right now, the only workarounds are archiving tiers (which breaks upgrade paths for existing members) or using pre-selection parameters in signup links (which requires additional technical setup and doesn't prevent early access). Neither is clean. A simple "Available from" date field per tier would eliminate the need for these workarounds entirely and make phased launches significantly more manageable — especially for communities with staggered tier rollouts.

Edit Recurring Events

I would love to be able to change the description of recurring events that are for each instance. We have a leadership call every week, so we want to make it a recurring event, but in the description we want to be able to put what each of the calls are about. Each one we talk about something different, but the actual call title is the same.

Option/Ability to upload a Thumbnail on Videos

This is one of the features nearly all other platforms have that I vetted before deciding on Heartbeat and it would save so much time (vs. a workaround like making sure the first frame of my video was the thumbnail?). I’d like to be able to make my course really well branded and an awesome experience and this will help greatly!

Please correct an error in the waitlist cancellation process

I have set up a wait list, and I signed up as a test member, using one of my own email addresses as a test member. A few weeks later, I wanted to be sure that waitlist members could cancel their spot on the waitlist, so I opened the "You're on the waitlist!" confirmation email that had been sent to that email address, and clicked on the "View" button. I’m altering the URL so that I don’t have to put identifying info in here, but it essentially took me to https://community.mydomain.com/invitation?code=ZZZZZ&email=myemail%40gmail.com#waitlist-confirmation I saw the "leave" link at the bottom of the screen (I think that's what it said... I can't remember), and I clicked on it. The screen changed to what you'll see in the attached screen shot, so the "leave" button was gone, but it still says that the member is on the waitlist. Inside of Heartbeat, in my own admin account, I do see that this member has been removed from the waitlist (moved to canceled), and I see that the user did get an email letting them know that they are no longer on the wait list, but the web page itself is telling them that they’re still on the waitlist. I'm using DuckDuckGo on Windows 11, if that matters. If we tell the users in an email that they’ve been removed from the waitlist, but tell them in the browser that they’re still on the waitlist, they’re going to know that something went wrong, and won’t know if they’ve been removed from the waitlist or not. Thank you!
