Feature Request: Email Branding & Image Support Current Issue: As a community builder charging for premium events and memberships, I need professional branded email communications. Currently, Heartbeat's automated emails (event confirmations, workflow emails, notifications) lack essential branding capabilities. Specific Missing Features: Email Header Images/Logos - No way to add company logos to automated emails Custom HTML Email Templates - Limited to basic text formatting Image Attachments - Cannot include images in workflow emails or notifications Brand Color Schemes - No colour customisation for email layouts Business Impact: Trust & Credibility Issues: Unbranded emails appear unprofessional, especially for paid events Anti-Spam Concerns: Generic emails more likely to be flagged or ignored Brand Inconsistency: All other touchpoints are branded except critical email communications Customer Experience: Premium pricing demands polished communication throughout the journey Use Cases: Event confirmation emails with branded headers and ticket details Course welcome sequences with logo and brand colours Membership confirmation emails with professional appearance Workflow-triggered communications that maintain brand identity Suggested Solution: Email template builder with support for header images, custom colours, and basic HTML formatting - similar to what's available in most email marketing platforms. This would significantly improve the professional presentation of Heartbeat-powered communities, especially those monetising through events and memberships.

What you can do today (on a Growth or Business subscription) is:

  • Set up a custom email domain so emails send from your domain (white-labelling)…

My Response, it should be available to all levels as branding and professional aesthetics in building a community are important poor vissuals = poor uptake of membership =less people join= less money and upgrades from community owners.

Please don’t take this the wrong way I love the platform and what can be done with it one of the reasons I have come over from Mighty Networks and will be stopping using Facebook for the network. just some tweaks like this would be better experiance for the users and the admins. 😊

What problem does this solve?
Unbranded automated emails create a trust gap at the most important moments β€” event confirmations, membership welcomes, course enrolments. These are the touchpoints where first impressions count most. When members have paid to join or attend an event, a generic-looking email doesn't match the experience they're expecting. It can feel inconsistent with everything else they see in the community. In some cases it may even get filtered as spam or overlooked entirely β€” meaning missed confirmations and lower engagement. A simple fix β€” logo header, image insert, brand colours, basic HTML formatting β€” would make a real difference. Most email platforms include this as standard at every level, because good branding isn't a premium feature, it's a foundation. For community owners working hard to grow and monetise, consistent professional communication throughout the member journey really matters. This isn't a criticism of Heartbeat β€” quite the opposite. The platform does so much well. These small additions would just make the whole experience feel as polished as the rest of it.
